These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale of products through the online store at syntide.eu, operated by Kaiser K. e.v. (“Syntide”, “we”). Full operator details are in our Legal Notice. By placing an order you accept these Terms.
1. Products — research use only
All products sold by Syntide are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory and scientific research purposes only. They are not medicinal products, food, food supplements, cosmetics or medical devices, and they are not intended, labelled or sold for human or veterinary consumption, or for any diagnostic or therapeutic use. They have not been evaluated or approved by any medicines authority for use in or on humans or animals. By ordering, you confirm that you are a qualified purchaser acquiring the products for lawful research purposes, that you will handle, store and dispose of them safely and lawfully, and that you assume full responsibility for their use. Nothing on the Website constitutes medical advice or a recommendation for human use.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a contract. Products are sold to, and delivered within, the European Union only.
3. Formation of the contract
Product listings are an invitation to treat, not a binding offer. When you submit an order you make an offer to purchase; the contract is concluded when we confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if a product is unavailable, a price is manifestly erroneous, or the order appears fraudulent or unlawful.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euro (EUR). Prices include VAT where applicable. Any applicable shipping costs are shown before you complete your order, and the total payable is displayed at checkout.
5. Payment
Payment is accepted via the methods shown at checkout, including cryptocurrency payment processed by our payment provider (CoinPal). Orders are processed once payment has been confirmed. You are responsible for any network or transaction fees charged by third parties.
6. Delivery
We ship within the European Union only. Orders are normally dispatched and delivered within 3 to 7 business days after payment confirmation, subject to availability and the carrier’s service. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you (or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods. 7. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), subject to statutory exceptions (including sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery). 8. Conformity and warranty
Consumers are entitled to the statutory warranty of conformity and, where applicable, product warranty under Hungarian law. If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, contact us at support@syntide.eu.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the products contrary to Section 1 (research use only) or from improper handling or storage. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or a consumer’s statutory rights.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law and applicable EU law, without depriving a consumer of the protection of mandatory provisions of their country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent Hungarian courts. Consumers may also use out-of-court conciliation as described in our Legal Notice (note: the EU ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025).
11. Changes
We may amend these Terms; the version in force at the time of your order applies to that order. The current version is always published on this page.
