This Privacy Policy explains how Syntide (“we”, “us”) collects and processes personal data when you visit syntide.eu or place an order, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Hungarian data-protection law.

2. Categories of personal data
- ›Identification and contact data: name, billing and shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number.
- ›Order and transaction data: products ordered, order value, order and delivery history, and correspondence with us.
- ›Payment data: payment method and confirmation of payment. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full payment credentials.
- ›Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- ›Concluding and performing the sales contract (account, order processing, delivery, customer service) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- ›Complying with legal obligations such as accounting and tax record-keeping — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- ›Fraud prevention, network security and defending legal claims — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).

4. Recipients and processors
We share personal data only as necessary with: our hosting provider; our payment provider (CoinPal cryptocurrency payment processor); shipping and logistics partners who deliver your order; and IT, e-mail and analytics providers acting as processors on our behalf. payment providers (CoinPal, EasyPay), our hosting provider (Rackhost Zrt.), and our shipping and fulfilment providers (ShippyPro, and the carriers GLS, DHL, UPS, DPD and FedEx).
5. International data transfers
Where a processor is located outside the European Economic Area, we ensure an adequate level of protection through an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) — for example international carriers such as UPS, FedEx and DHL. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection in line with applicable data-protection law.
6. Retention periods
We keep order and accounting records for the period required by Hungarian law (accounting documents: 8 years under Act C of 2000 on Accounting). Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until you withdraw consent. Other data is deleted when no longer necessary for the purposes above.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@syntide.eu.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority: National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság — NAIH), website naih.hu.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls and regular updates — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
